As the life of STARCOM quietly came to a close on April 6, 2006, and the life as we knew it for so many years is gone, it seemed appropriate to do one last project -- that being a tribute to all the people I have worked with during my last 23 years. They changed our name...they moved us from building to building and city to city...they took away our jobs. But the one thing they couldn't take was our spirit -- the spirit of a family who belonged together. I hope this web page will serve as a place we can all go to find each other.
You will find three things here. First is list of the people who have stayed in touch over the years. For privacy reasons, I have not included email addresses here, but you could contact me if need someone's address. Contact ListSecond, I have collected the old penny post cards of NCR Dayton over the years. If you are interested in the history of NCR buildings in Dayton, you will want to look at these. I have included the description printed on the postcard and the postmark date if there was one. NCR Penny Post CardsNCR Dayton Campus Picture and Directory, 1966And last but not least, as the final keeper of the archives, I inherited all the pictures that were taken over the years. As I scan these, I will post them here. I have tried to put as much identification with the pictures as I could. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed making this web page. Remember, this is a work in progress, so check back often for more pictures.
I had a great time! I wish you well. Our NewslettersCIS March-April 1998 |
