James T. Agenbroad was born in the village of Lockington, Shelby County, Ohio, on May 30, 1865. He attended the schools of that village, and, after following various lines of employment there for several years, removed to Dayton where he secured a position as conductor on a street car. He was engaged in this capacity by the Oakwood Company when appointed patrolman on the police force, January 6, 1902. He has proven a worthy and efficient officer and holds the respect of the department. Mr. Agenbroad is affiliated with the Masons and Modern Woodmen. His wife's name is Mary.
