Morgan Murphy Fulton was born July 30, 1858, at Ripley, Ohio. He was educated and grew up in that city, preparing himself for clerical work. He filled a number of responsible positions and followed this line of work after removing to Dayton. On August 18, 1899, he was favored with an appointment to a position as turnkey at the Third Precinct police station, where he is still on duty. Mr. Fulton is prominently identified with the Modern Woodmen of America and is well known. His family consists of his wife, Laura, two son, Robert and Arthur, and one daughter, Josephine.
