Everybody around police headquarters has a good word for Russell Graves, record clerk and official stenographer. He is an expert in his line and gives the best of satisfaction to his superiors. Frank Russell Graves was born of German descent in the city of Dayton, on November 23, 1885. He attended the public schools and studied six years at St. Mary's Institute. Later he entered the Miami Commercial College and graduated from that institution. He was appointed to his present position April 1, 1906. His time is divided between the office of the Director of Public Safety and the police headquarters, and he discharges his duties in both offices in a businesslike and pleasing fashion.
