Otha E. Greger was born on a farm in Montgomery County, Ohio, on May 8, 1883. His parents removed to Dayton while he was still in his infancy, and he attended the Lincoln school at Fifth and Lincoln Streets. After leaving school he began work in a factory and learned to be a machinist. He was following this trade when appointed patrolman on the police force, May 3, 1906. Mr. Greger is affiliated with the local body of Masons, and is popular in a large circle of friends. He and his wife, Muella, are the happy parents of two children, Louisa and O. Evan.
