William R. Henderson, a member of the police force since December 2, 1902, and a turnkey at the Second Precinct station since January 11, 1907, was born at Washington Court House, Ohio, on August 7, 1862. After finishing his education in the public schools he became a carpenter's apprentice, and followed that trade after removing to Dayton until appointed to the force. Mr. Henderson is prominently identified with the Modern Woodmen of America and is well known. He and his wife, Louise, are the parents of two sons, Walter and William.
