Oscar L. Kincaid was born October 11, 1883, at Georgetown, Ohio. He was educated in the schools of that city and at Lexington, Ky., where his parents later moved. When he had reached his maturity he learned the trade of stone mason. He followed this occupation for several years in his native home and took up the trade again after removing to Dayton. He successfully sought an appointment on the police force when he desired a change, being appointed November 10, 1907. Mr. Kincaid is prominently identified with a Knights of Pythias lodge. He is unmarried.
