Daniel A. McNett is a native of the "Hoosier" state, having been born at Muncie, Indiana, on September 6, 1877. Upon completing the common school course of that city he learned the trade of molder, and later removed to Dayton, where he followed this occupation until appointed to the police force March 19, 1905. Mr. McNett and his wife, Anna, have one son, whose name is Dale. Mr. McNett is an active member of the order of the Modern Woodmen of America, and stands well in the opinion of his superiors in the department.
