Oscar Orlando Moses, who is the sixth oldest patrolman on the force, is a native of Warren County, having been born at Franklin, Ohio, on May 3, 185. When a boy his parents removed to a farm in Darke County where he received his education in the district school. For a number of years he followed the occupation of farmer and then took up his residence in Dayton. He was appointed to the police force May 30, 1892, and has proven a most capable and efficient officer. Mr. Moses has an interesting family, consisting of his wife, Margaret, and four children, John, Della, Elizabeth and Ethel.
