Charles F. Peddicord, of German-American parentage, was born at Georgetown, Ohio on September 11, 1873. He received a liberal education in the public schools of his native city and soon after reaching his majority took up his residence in Dayton, where better advantages for congenial employment were offered. Taking care of the front end of a street car appealed to him and he was engaged as motorman when appointed patrolman on the police force, December 23, 1903. Mr. Peddicord is a member of Modern Woodmen of America. He and his wife, Dora, are the happy parents of two daughters, Ethel and Estalla, and one son, Everett.
