Frederick A. Phillips

Frederick A. Phillips was born in the capital city of Ohio, Columbus, on October 21, 1876. He received a common school education in that city, and started out at an early age to make his own way in the world. Guiding the destinies of a street car was the most agreeable employment for him, and he followed this work for some time. He later took up his residence in Dayton, where he again followed the work and was so engaged when he entered the service of the police department, on January 2, 1907. Mr. Phillips is a member of the Modern Woodmen of American. .
