Rudolph F. Wurstner, who is one of the five trustees of the Police Pension Fund, was born in the historic little village of Ft. Jennings, Ohio, on August 5, 1880. He was appointed patrolman on the police force December 1, 1902. When Mr. Wurstner was a mere lad his parents removed to Kearney, Nebraska, where he was educated in the public schools. On reaching manhood he returned to Ohio, locating at Dayton. When appointed on the force he was engaged as a car builder. Mr. Wurstner is identified with the I. O. O. F. Lodge and the M. W. of A. He is married, his wife's name being Carrie. He is deservedly popular among his fellow friends.
